MY WORLD Science Unit for 2nd grade

Here is some information for you to revise at home.

This unit is about the Earth, the Sun and the moon.

We are learning about the different movements of the EARTH.

Let's take a closer look:

*The Earth ROTATES:

*It takes the Earth one DAY to rotate.

That is how we have the DAY and the NIGHT:

*But the Earth also REVOLVES around the SUN;

*It takes one YEAR ( 365 days) for the Earth to go around the Sun;

*SO REMEMBER:

The Earth ROTATES and it REVOLVES.
